1. Secretary’s Report - Approved as published in the Newsletter

3. Committee Reports
a) Trails Committee - Greg reported that plans are to offer two opportunities per month for trail rides per month including single day rides and over-night rides. Rides will be posted on the SRSC Website.
b) Show Committee - Joan reported that arena contracts have been received from Rainbow and will be signed and returned to Rainbow. Rainbow will be doing the food booth at all SRSC shows. Joan will contact Dakota Wranglers 4H group & Deb Klecatsky to talk about 4H group helping with the horse shows. SRSC shows are listed in the “on deck” section of the WSCA Spotlight and Website.
c) Finance Committee - Rich reported that the committee has met and decided to contact a tax attorney to get advice. Lynda reported that she has contacted a tax attorney.
d) Newsletter/Publicity - SRSC is recruiting members. We are looking for horse enthusiasts to contact us and join SRSC. From the SRSC Website they will be able to contact Stephanie at president@saddleliterdiers.com. Newsletter is available for all members to download.
e) Parades - Trina reported that she has received information from the Cottage Grove and Hastings parades. She is waiting for information from Inver Grove Heights Start City Days, South St. Paul and Rosemount.
f) Royalty - Queen Cassie reported that she has been working with Princess Bernadette and her new horse and Jr. Princess Caity on their Royalty rides. The WSCA Queens clinic will be April 19. Anyone can go to the clinic to find out about the WSCA Royalty contest.
g) GCSCA - Trina reported that 173 books were put together March 4. The books are $4.00. Contact Trina for the GCSCA books. Trina also requested that the SRSC membership list be sent to GCSCA by June 1, 2006.
h) WSCA - Joan reported that she will supply a separate review of the WSCA General meeting that was held on March 5, 2006.
4. Old Business
a) Shots clinic - Stephanie reported that Sharon Dreifus is out of town until March 13. She will contact her and pick dates for the clinic. Any member interested in participating in the shots clinic should call Stephanie ASAP. The shots will be at Sharon’s 2005 rates and no trip charge.
b) Saddlelite Gear/Clothing - Stephanie, Trina, Leslie and Peggy will have an order form ready for the April meeting for SRSC logo clothing.
c) Speaker for April - It was decided to hold a Tack Swap and Social before the April member -ship meeting from 7:00 to 8:00 PM. Peggy will bring snacks. Meeting will start at 8:00 PM.
d) DeSpooking Clinic - Decision was made not to sponsor a SRSC clinic. Mary’s next clinic was published in the newsletter.
e) Timer Purchase - SRSC Board reported that the timer purchase is on hold pending setting 2006 budget and advice from tax accountant.
4. Adjourn Meeting - Meeting was adjourned at 9:05 PM.
