Hello all, if you noticed when posting, on the right side of the box you enter your post into there is a “Categories” heading.  You can put the check mark in the box next to the appropriate category to keep the site organized.  Thanks and I’m glad you all seem to like it.

Congratulations to SRSC President Stephanie Rendell!! (now known as Stephanie Huss!)

Sunday, September 24th, 2006

On Saturday, September 23rd at 4pm in the afternoon Stephanie Rendell married Duane Huss in Cottage Grove! A little bit of rain didn’t affect the wonderful afternoon and evening of celebration! The wedding was beautiful and Stephanie looked fabulous in her wedding gown! Duane looked sharp in his tux as well!

After the ceremony, the bridal party and the guests went off to enjoy dinner and dance the night away!

Please join me in wishing Stephanie and Duane much happiness!

~Calling all potential ROYALTY~

Tuesday, September 19th, 2006

Wouldn’t you like to parade around with a beautiful well deserved crown a top your, YES, your head? Wouldn’t you like to have people look up to you? Wouldn’t you like to carry the honor of representing a fun club you beleive in? Wouldn’t you like the “bling bling”? …….I know have. I have experienced those great feeling s and more :)

I have had some of my greatest moments representing Saddlelite. Some of the experiences I have had are: meeting wonderful non-horse and horse people all over the state, developing a relationship with many people, putting shining smiles on childrens faces, establishing a name for myself in this industry, helping people over come small or large hurdles, and much more.

Each Queen is unique, each Princess is unique, and each Jr. Princess/Prince is unique! How you carry the “torch” is up to you, but Im confident in any member who steps up to represent Saddlelite that they indeed will do a FANTASTIC job.

Here is some general information about/for potential nominees. To be Queen you must be over 18 years old, to be Princess you must fall between the ages of 14-17, and anything below 14 years old qualifies as Jr. Royalty. You must be able to represent the club in a positive manner. You must be a member in good standing. You do not have to be the “best” rider. You must be able to have fun and smile :) You do not have to know “everything” about horses. You will have to give a small speech and answer a few questions at the November meeting(very informal and easy). Basically, being saddleclub royalty is about having fun, trying your best, helping others, inviting people to join our club, enjoying your trusty steed, and learning from your experiences.

The October meeting is right around the corner and we will be taking nominations for all royalty positions!

ITS FUN! ITS EASY! If you have any questions call me or e-mail me anytime!! I would love to help ya out!

Thanks,
